ENYP ‘Hits the Road’

ENYP will soon be delivering its new initiative of activities called ‘Hit the Road’.

This summer thanks to ENYP’s partnerships with attractions and organisations across the County we are able to provide a range of different trips and activities to cater for children and young people. Many of the children and young people we work with have never accessed recreational opportunities outside of their own community area, and we know that these provide valuable experiences and opportunities for them as they grow up.

The Revd Danny Doran-Smith, ENYP Director, said “Our ‘Hit the Road’ project provides a great opportunity for young people to broaden their horizons, explore new places and benefit from new experiences. We know that one new experience can make a young person’s summer and provides them with many memories for the future – what an amazing opportunity we have to see young people to try something new!”

The trips include visits to Thribgy Wildlife Gardens, Snettisham Park, travel on the North Norfolk Railway, undertaking outdoor activities at Whitlingham Broad, and a visit to Fairhaven Water Gardens on the Broads, to name a few. We are taking young people on trips in groups of 7, and these are fully funded and aimed at those who have not experienced these opportunities before. If you know a child/young person who may benefit and would like to refer them please contact us as soon as possible as we have a limited number of places available.
